The majestic light that swept over the southern end of the St. George peninsula on June 18 was breathtaking! Late June on the mid-coast of Maine is always special, but a double rainbow that held court over the pink waters of Tenants Harbor was something else all together.
I truly wonder sometimes if it gets any better than watching summer creep over the coast of Maine. What a blessing it is to witness the changing of the seasons. Each change is different, but the change that occurs when spring gives way to summer is perhaps my favorite. If only we could stop time and bottle up what we see.
June is so fleeting here in Maine, but every moment is worth it!
