The St. Tammany Crab Festival returns to the scenic shore of Bayou Bonfouca in Slidell for three big days of music, food and festival fun, September 20, 21 and 22, 2019. The festival opens at 5:00 p.m. Friday and closes at 11:30 p.m., and runs 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

The Crab Festival is fun for the whole family, celebrating Louisiana’s succulent crabs and other aquatic delicacies reeled in from the bayous and the Gulf, and featuring some of greatest entertainers In Southeast Louisiana. Vintage car enthusiasts will marvel over the many classic cars, trucks, rat rods, motorcycles and other unique vehicles in the 5th Annual Mr. Crab’s Car Show. Also returning is Captain Dave of Cat’s Meow Fishing Charters, who will take passengers aboard his boat for a scenic tour of Bayou Bonfouca.

And, last but not least, it is no longer necessary to pay admission to the full festival to ride the carnival rides! Carnival entrance area is on Fremaux St. before the park entrance.
