Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Little River Inlet, SC

The Little River Inlet is located just south of the border between North and South Carolina. The mouth of the inlet opens to the Atlantic Ocean, and the inlet travels between Bird Island and Waties Island, past Mink and Goat Islands and along Little River Neck and the town of Little River. Little River is the first known community to be settled in Horry County, and it was originally known for being a trading port as well as a fishing community. Currently, the area is home to the state’s only two casino boats.
