* WHAT...Lake effect snow, possibly heavy at times, expected. Total
snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches north of US-2.
Otherwise, 2 to 5 inches expected everywhere else.
* WHERE...Delta County.
* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and
Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates could be an inch per hour or
greater within the heaviest snow bands Wednesday afternoon and
evening.
Gale Warning issued December 10 at 9:58PM EST until December 12 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI
* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and
waves 3 to 6 ft expected.
* WHERE...Green Bay North of line from Cedar River MI to Rock
Island Passage and 5NM East of a line from Fairport MI to Rock
Island Passage.
* WHEN...From 7 PM Wednesday to 10 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
