Weather Alerts
Coastal Flood Advisory issued October 11 at 10:01AM EDT until October 11 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Key West FL
* WHAT...Moderate saltwater flooding around 1 foot above ground
level, or mean higher high water, will remain possible in the
Bayside communities of the Upper Keys today. Water levels
should continue to lower during the day due to northeast to
east winds.
* WHERE...Bayside of the Upper Florida Keys.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots
is expected. Some storm drains will overflow, and some
seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less
clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that
persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost
certain to contain a mix of saltwater.
