On Monday, expect 1-2 inches of rain in areas impacted
by thunderstorms across south Florida, with scattered amounts of 3-4
inches certainly a possibility. A reasonable worst case to consider
will be along the east coast metros where an isolated spot or two
could record 5-7 inches.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Coastal and metro portions of Palm Beach, Broward, and
Miami-Dade counties.
* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of roadways, and
other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

At 215 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
11 nm east of Palm Beach Shores, moving southeast at 25 knots.
