About Cuttyhunk Marina

The Cuttyhunk Marina, operated by the Town of Gosnold from May 15th through October 15th, is located in a safe, quiet, and picturesque harbor appealing to sailors as well as power boaters. Our Wharf Office is open from 8 am to 5 pm daily. Our peaceful, protected deepwater harbor provides shelter in all winds.

The Marina offers nightly rental slips for transient boats up to 110’. The nightly rental moorings can accommodate boats up to 60’, with rafting of up to three boats in fair winds.

The Marina Dock has public restrooms (sorry, no showers or laundry services available, due to our excellent but limited water supply) and multiple vendors offering food, cold drinks, coffee, ice, lobsters, shellfish, and more.

There are public picnic tables and protected grilling stands available for marina guest use. The Fuel Dock offers gas and diesel fuel, water (available for $10 per boat), and a small grocery store. Fuel Dock is open from 8 am to 5 pm and can be reached at 508-802-8633 (Duane Lynch) or 508-802-8634 (Lexi Lynch).

We are one of the last dry towns in Massachusetts, so the island is strictly BYOB. We have no trash disposal facilities on the island so all solid waste and recycling must be transported back to the mainland. We greatly appreciate carry in, carry out and waiting for a mainland port for your trash disposal.

Local Fishing Guides are available upon request.

Overnight Dock Slips

Cuttyhunk Marina has 52 transient boat slips for nightly rental through Dockwa, a few of which will accommodate vessels up to 110 feet. All slips have fresh water and electricity available, including 30 amp and 50 amp service. Water is included as part of the dockage fee. Restrooms are available at the Marina Dock and are open 24/7. The island has a small, sole source aquifer, so water is a precious resource and showers/laundry are not available.

Dock Slip Cancellation Policy

Slip reservations must be canceled a minimum of five (5) days in advance or the first night’s dockage and fees (Electric and Environmental Fee) will be retained by the town.

Overnight Inner Harbor Moorings

There are 47 town rental moorings available for overnight rental. All mooring rentals are reserved and paid online through Dockwa. Moorings are 4,000 lb. blocks set in mud and the tackle is inspected regularly. Vessels up to 60’ can be accommodated. Rafting up to 3 vessels per mooring is allowed, provided weather conditions are fair. Cuttyhunk Marina does not require rafting. Moorings have a water depth of about 10 ft at low tide. Launch service is not provided, but there is a public dinghy dock south-east of the marina’s first two finger piers.
