Shore Thing Rentals

Shore Thing Rentals rents kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, canoes, and bicycles for all skill levels on the North Shore of Long Island in Glen Cove, New York. Single, double, and triple kayaks are available, with safety equipment on hand for all ages. Everything in the fleet is human-powered, keeping a deliberately low carbon footprint. Shore Thing Rentals promotes environmental preservation by doing waterfront cleanups and encourages customers to be on the lookout for litter. If you bring litter back, you get an ice pop!!

Paddlers launch from the marina to explore nearby harbor beaches, preserves, and waterfront restaurants, and the shop stays open late on weekends for sunset outings and group paddles. Shore Thing also hosts weekly events and private lessons and parties, and carries gear, snacks, drinks, and merchandise for a day on the water.
