23rd Annual Fishing Frenzy and Festival

The St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce will host its 23^rd Annual Fishing Frenzy and Festival, presented by Geico Treasure Coast, on May 10-11, 2019 at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce. New this year, the Chamber is partnering with Stuart Sailfish Club’s 2^nd Annual KDW Fishing Tournament. The tournaments will be held simultaneously, allowing competitors to win double the prizes by registering in both tournaments. Also new this year, participants of either/both tournaments are permitted to leave out of the Fort Pierce, St. Lucie, and Jupiter inlets.

In the Fishing Frenzy tournament, $16,000.00 in cash and prizes will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th places, including $10,000.00 prize for the heaviest Dolphin (based on the number of registered boats). In addition, the Fishing Frenzy tournament will award prizes for Lady and Junior Angler. Cash prizes for the KDW Tournament are up to $10,000 (based on the number of registered boats). The KDW Tournament will include 1st, 2nd & 3rd Places, Dealer Shoot-Out, KDW Slam Aggregate and Largest Blackfin Catch.

All captains are required to attend a Captain’s briefing depending upon which tournament they’ve entered. Those participating in the KDW Tournament are required to attend the Captain’s Briefing & Check in on Friday, May 10th, at 6:00 p.m. at Sailfish Marina in Stuart. Those participating in the Fishing Frenzy & Festival are required to attend the Festival Kick-off/Captain’s Briefing on Friday, May 10^th at 7:00 p.m. at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce. Note: those registered in both tournaments are required to attend the Festival Kick-off/Captain’s Briefing on Friday, May 10^th at 7:00 p.m. at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce.

The Fishing Frenzy and Festival offers 2 days of fun for the whole family. Food, music, trivia contests, prizes, and a kid zone is sure to entertain everyone. Festival admission is free and open to the public.

Come to Causeway Cove Marina for the Festival Kick-off, Friday, May 10^th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and don’t miss the excitement of the fishing tournament weigh-ins of Kingfish, Dolphin and Wahoo for the KDW tournament, and strictly Dolphin for the Fishing Frenzy tournament on Saturday, May 11^th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. For those competing in bothtournaments or for Fishing Frenzy only participants, weigh-ins will be conducted at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce. For KDW Tournament participants only, weigh-ins will be conducted at Sailfish Marina in Stuart.

Festival vendor and food truck space is available for $100 ($75 for St. Lucie County Chamber members) for both days of the Festival. Fishing Frenzy tournament boat entry fee is $250.00 before May 1^st and $275.00 after May 1^st. Registration for the KDW Tournament is $275 before May 4th for four anglers and includes a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a Suzuki 4hp motor.  On May 4th, the registration fee is $325. Additional anglers are $75 each. Membership in the Stuart Sailfish Club is not required to participate. Sponsorship and vendor table opportunities are available.
