Register by April 22 to save on adult registration fees, be eligible for additional prizes, and head directly to the beach on tournament day. Register by mail or save a stamp and register online (fees apply).
First held in 1991, the Governor’s Surf Fishing Tournament was named to raise awareness of the importance of recreational saltwater fishing and marine resources in New Jersey. Funds raised are used for improving beach and surf fishing access, surf fishing instruction programs and equipment, and marine education and restoration efforts.
