Winter Storm Warning issued January 13 at 3:22AM EST until January 14 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 5 and 11 inches. Greatest amounts expected along M-26 from
Atlantic Mine to Mass City. Less snow between 1 and 5 inches
expected south of M-28 and east of US-45.
* WHERE...Northern Houghton and Ontonagon Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening
commutes today.

* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and
waves 5 to 8 ft occurring.
* WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI, Black River to
Ontonagon MI, Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI
and Upper Entrance of Portage Canal to Eagle River MI.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST /noon CST/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
