    * Until 1030 PM EDT.

    * At 854 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
    with heavy rainfall approaching the North Charleston Area. A quick
    1 to 2 inches of additional rainfall could occur with this
    activity. Emergency management officials report flood conditions
    have improved greatly since earlier this evening. However, any
    additional rainfall could result in renewed flash flooding.

    HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated.

    IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
    highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
    drainage and low-lying areas.

    * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
    North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, I-26/I-526
    Interchange, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Ladson, Daniel

    WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

    WHERE: Beaufort County in southeastern South Carolina...
    Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina...
    Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina...

    WHEN: Until 1145 PM EDT.

    IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
    Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - At 954 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with
    torrential rainfall extending from Wiggins and Bennetts Point to
    Edisto Island with lighter rainfall extending up into lower
    Charleston County. As much as 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen
    in this area this evening. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall
    through 1145 PM. A risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor
    drainage areas continues.

    Beaufort, Edisto Beach, Johns Island, James Island, Folly Beach,
    Seabrook Island, Kiawah Island, Rockville, Bennetts Point and
