Mission Statement
- To conduct marine law enforcement on the waters subject to the jurisdiction of East Hampton Town and the State of New York.
- Conduct search and rescue operations within the jurisdiction of the Town and State and assist the United States Coast Guard in matters that pertain to public safety.
- Assist other Town departments in matters of public safety and enforcement with the marine environment.
- Act as primary enforcement department for the waterways, beaches, shell fish and nature preserve sections of the East Hampton Town Code.
