
Gamage Shipyard, a full-service boatyard in South Bristol, Maine, sits on a quiet cove on the South Bristol Gut, just off midcoast Maine's beautiful Damariscotta River and only a few nautical miles from Boothbay Harbor. Service departments include mechanical, electrical and electronics, rigging, carpentry, and a TraveLift for hauling and launching. A marina lounge, laundry, and showers are available for our customers and transient visitors. We offer summer and winter storage, including both heated or outside storage. Gasoline and diesel are available 7 days a week.
Gamage Shipyard was established in 1924 and built nearly 100 boats over the next half-century, including well-known schooners such as Harvey Gamage and Mary Day. Pemaquid Point Lighthouse stands just across John's Bay, Christmas Cove is around the corner, and it's only a few nautical miles to Boothbay Harbor.
