Operating on Newport Harbor since 1972, Oldport Marine Services offers transient mooring rentals and (reservations handled by Dockwa), along with mooring maintenance and dockage. Oldport Marine is a Yanmar marine diesel dealer offering engine sales, parts, service, and repowering. The company also builds its own design Oldport 26 passenger launch—and has turned out more than 150 of them.
For a leisurely tour of Newport Harbor, book a cruise on the Amazing Grace. Oldport Marine also provides harbor launch service to and from moorings, or stops downtown, Goat Island, and Fort Adams, hailed on VHF Channel 68. They also run a launch service on Block Island, and in Edgartown, on Martha’s Vineyard. Seasonal schedules are available on the website.
