Safe Harbor Kittery Point is a full-service marina, boatyard, and marine repair facility operating two working waterfront locations on the Piscataqua River in Southern Maine. Our Kittery and Eliot yards proudly preserve the last two active service facilities on the river, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, storage, and marina services for both recreational and commercial vessels.
We specialize in outboard and diesel engine service, repowers, and preventative maintenance; marine systems and electronics installation; electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; fiberglass and gelcoat repair; carpentry and fabrication; Awlgrip paint and refinishing; and complete refit projects. Our certified technicians bring more than 250 years of combined experience and are equipped to manage everything from routine service to complex custom work.
Our facilities offer storage capacity for up to 200 boats and a haul-out capability of up to 50 tons. Across nine acres, we maintain more than 65,000 square feet of indoor heated and cold storage and service space, along with extensive outdoor storage. Our expanding Eliot location adds significant new heated capacity for winter storage and year-round project work.
The marina at our Kittery property includes 40 deep-water moorings, nine slips, and two pony floats for vessels up to 65 feet. Located in one of the most protected basins in the region, the harbor offers direct, bridge-free access to the Gulf of Maine. Members and transient guests enjoy access to a wide range of amenities designed to make each stay comfortable and convenient.

Bordered by the Piscataqua River and the Atlantic Ocean, Kittery offers protected cruising waters, scenic parks, walking trails, and quiet beaches, while remaining just minutes from Portsmouth and its historic waterfront, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Safe Harbor Kittery Point operates year-round from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting.
