Our Hook-A-Cure event, in Gloucester, MA, is a super fun, family friendly, fishing tournament and fundraising event hosted by our organization, the Scrawney-Morgan Foundation. We started this Striped Bass/Bluefish fishing tournament in 2018 to raise funds to combat cancer in memory of Russell “Scrawney” Morris, a lifelong Gloucester resident and avid fisherman, and have been working to make our event fun for anglers and land-lovers alike! Two days of fishing for striper, groundfish and tuna followed by awards dinner and auction. Help us to achieve this year’s goal and raise money to fight cancer, and have fun doing it!
