2020 U.S. National Toboggan Championships

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Racers: Some start times are approximate. Arrive early and plan to stay the day! Ice conditions in chute and on pond subject to change. All start times listed are approximate.

THURSDAY, FEB. 6
7:30 p.m.

Rustic Overtones returns to the Camden Opera House, with local opener Drive By Todd. $20 in advance, $25 day-of-show. FMI: camdenoperahouse.com.

FRIDAY, FEB. 7
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Team sign-in (pick up bib, sign releases) and toboggan inspection in Tobogganville
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Toboggan chute open to public for practice and fun runs, $5 per person, weather permitting

SATURDAY, FEB. 8
6:30 a.m.
Snow Bowl General parking lot opens, $10/vehicle, space limited
7 to 9 a.m.
2- and 3-Person sign-in (continues) and toboggan inspection in Tobogganville
7 a.m. to noon
4-Person and Experimental sign-in and toboggan inspection in Tobogganville

ALL TEAMS [2-Person, 3-Person, 4-Person, Experimental] MUST BE REGISTERED and TEAM MEMBERS SIGNED-IN BY NOON SATURDAY OR RISK DISQUALIFICATION.

7 a.m. to 5 p.m.      
Bus shuttle service from downtown Camden; $5/person (under 12 free) roundtrip; Shuttle bus pick-up downtown Camden at Village Green, at Elm and Washington streets.
8 a.m.        
FIRST RUNS for 2-person then 3-person divisions (SECOND RUNS begin AFTER first-run heat is complete for all teams)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
Snow Bowl open for skiing and snowboarding
10 a.m. (approx.)    
SECOND RUNS for 2-person then 3-person divisions (Optional for fast times)
Noon (approx.)      
COSTUME CONTEST PARADE through Tobogganville (w/guest judges near Sea Dog tent)
1 p.m.   
FIRST RUNS for 4-person and Experimental divisions
4:30 to 7:30 p.m.    
West Bay Rotary Chili Challenge, 16 Bay View, lower level banquet room. $10 adults, $7 children. You won’t leave hungry!

SUNDAY, FEB. 9
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

9 to 11 a.m.          
SECOND RUNS for 4-person and Experimental teams (Optional for fast times)

WORLDS RACE – all first place 4-person teams from PAST 29 YEARS are eligible to race
(NEW) Best Crafted Toboggan line-up and judging in front of bleachers
FINAL RUNS – begin with two runs each, 2-person teams, then proceed with 3-person, 4-person and experimental teams
TOP 40 – 2-person teams
TOP 40 – 3-person teams
TOP 50 – 4-person teams
TOP 25% – Experimental teams
