    WHEN: For the High Rip Current Risk, from Sunday morning
    through Sunday evening. For the Coastal Flood Statement,
    Sunday evening.

    IMPACTS: Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable
    locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Life-
    threatening rip currents are likely for all people entering
    the surf zone. Anyone visiting the beaches should stay out of
    the surf. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
    from shore into deeper water.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Additional minor coastal flooding is
    possible Monday night.

    PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

    WHERE: Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New
    Haven, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from
    Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay.

    WHEN: From 2 PM Sunday to 3 AM EDT Monday.

    IMPACTS: Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
