southeast at 20 mph.

Visibility rapidly dropping to less than a quarter of a mile...
Snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour...
Locations impacted include...
Painesville, Ashtabula, Willowick, Chardon, Fairport Harbor,
Geneva-On-The-Lake, Euclid, Mentor, Willoughby, Eastlake, Geneva,
South Russell, Madison, Middlefield, North Bloomfield, Perry, Orwell,
Burton, Andover, and Timberlake.
Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this lake effect
snow band. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until this
snow band passes your location.
Lake Effect Snow Warning issued December 2 at 3:41PM EST until December 3 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 2 and 5 inches.
* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, and Lake Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A potent cold front will move through
Wednesday night, ushering in strong, gusty winds and impactful
lake effect snow Wednesday night into Thursday. Additional winter
weather headlines may be needed for that period.

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 15 to 25
knots with gusts up to 40 knots and waves 4 to 7 feet. For the
Gale Watch, west gales to 35 knots with gusts up to 40 knots
and waves 7 to 12 feet possible.
* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Vermilion OH to
Ripley NY.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 PM EST
Wednesday. For the Gale Watch, from Wednesday evening through
Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
