Napatree Point

Napatree point is one of the prettiest and most secluded beaches in the state.

It stretches for over a mile and ends with the remains of the Spanish American war era, Fort Mansfield, build in the Spanish-American war.

At one time this area was heavily inhabited, but all of the residences were wiped out during the hurricane of ’38.

About a half mile north of Napatree is a sandy island called Sandy Point.

Napatree is a great place for swimming, hiking and kayaking.
