Not Too Late for Some Striper Action in Maine

By this point in the year plenty of people are already calling the Striped Bass season over in Maine, but they’re doing so at their peril. Little do they realize that the hefty stripers haven’t all departed for southern waters yet — they just might have moved into warmer waters right here in the Pine Tree State. The tidal flats at the head of Maine’s many bays and sounds provides perfect habitat for stripers even in October, and there’s no more challenging and exciting way to stalk them than from a flats boat.
