On the Manatee River in Bradenton, Florida, just outside (100 – 200 yards to the northeast) of the Twin Dolphin Marina entrance there is a very shallow area – about 3 feet. It is between the Route 41 bridge channel and the actual entrance to the marina. The problem arises if the boater proceding down the river (westerly) turns before the marker 22A. Stay with the channel past 22A and then turn to the marina. The area can be seen from the satellite photo view, but is not shown on the chart.
