Most boaters were able to haul their yachts or at, the very least, find a tidy basin to tuck their boats into before Hurricane Sandy’s impact was felt on the New England shore. But a large yachts chose to ride out the storm in Newport Harbor, and Corinna Halloran‘s photos show that they ended up having a wild ride on the hook. Even ashore the storm was plenty wild enough, with the Cliff Walk becoming far more an extreme experience than usual.
