Seastar, a Banks Cove 22, was brought to Johanson Boatworks late in 2012, with some serious changes on the agenda. The old engine and jet drive were removed, the hull was repaired, and the transom was prepped for an Armstrong outboard bracket. A new fuel tank was added underneath the floor, along with an upgrade to the electronics and D/C system. This included a new D/C panel and batteries. A 150 HP E-Tec Evinrude outboard was then hung on the bracket.
This turned out to be a great project for Johanson Boatworks, and we’re excited to see Seastar out on the water this summer.
