Spring Launchings: Wasque 32 Total Refit Completed

After two seasons, the Wasque 32 Penguin total refit is complete. The restoration of this Marblehead-based 1983 Wasque 32 motor yacht was a two-phase project.

In Phase 1, the exterior of Penguin was restored, including all new teak rails, a new fiberglass-molded helm console with a teak top, and all new engine instruments. A functional, as well as a beautiful, custom aft bench seat with storage was added to the cockpit.

In Phase 2, a full remodeling of the interior included a larger head, complete galley, more comfortable seating and full finished woodwork throughout. A new Volvo engine was also installed.

Judging by the smiles on the faces of owners John and Cindy Clemson, as well as on C.W. Hood Yachts owner Chris Hood, the launching this week signified the completion of another great project at C.W. Hood Yachts.
