Boat of the Year 2011 and 2013 Rig Up for a summer of sailing/racing off Marblehead this summer. We were busy rigging up a C.W. Hood 32s at the Eastern Yacht Club recently when and we were enjoying the camaraderie of our friends aboard the J/70 that was also about to be launched. Photographed together we realize we have two award winning designs side by side . On the left is Sailing World and Sail Magazines pick for Daysailer of the Year in 2011 – our own C.W. Hood 32 – with Scott Webber getting her ready to launch. On the right is Sailing World Magazines’ pick for Boat of the Year 2013 – the J/70 with our friend Jack Attridge on board. Two award winners out racing on Marblehead harbor this summer – now that is something to look forward to!
