Newest Back Cove Yacht Heads Into Busy Boating Seasons

Back Cove Yachts is pleased to announce the successful launch of its latest model, the Back Cove Downeast 37. The celebration took place on Thursday, July 11th, attended by over 100 friends, dealers, and members of the media, at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland.

The Downeast 37 got rave reviews for her practical, flexible layout. The group agreed that the boat’s open design makes it perfectly suited for a day trip along the coast as well as socializing at the dock: throughout the event, we often had over ten people standing comfortably in the open twelve-foot-by-twelve-foot cockpit!

“First responses to this new model are very positive,” says Bentley Collins, VP of Sales and Marketing for Sabre and Back Cove Yachts. “We are anxious to show the Downeast 37 to the public, which we will do at the Maine Boats Homes and Harbors Show on August 9th in Rockland. She will also be shown at many of the fall shows down the Eastern seaboard as well as in San Diego.”
