Coming Home: Moving a Sloop from Rockland to MDI

Transporting a boat from one boatyard to another is more than just a hauling job for us — it’s bringing someone’s pride and joy home to them. West Marine Transport is always excited when owners record the move, and we couldn’t help sharing this cool video that Barry Buchanan put together about the day we brought his 31-foot Golden Hind sloop from Rockland to the Hinckley Company yard in Southwest Harbor.
