NJ WMA Restrictions Begin Lifting At Affected Areas Beginning Today, July 27

Wildlife Management Areas that were closed, or had access to certain facilities temporarily restricted due to state mandated employee furloughs, will begin reopening today, Monday, July 27. It may take several days for all of the areas to reopen since Division of Fish and Wildlife Land Management staff physically remove barriers and inspect each location.

The status of WMAs and facilities will be posted on the WMA System page as they reopen.

Thank you for your continued patience and support. Division staff are excited to return to work and are moving as quickly as possible to restore access to these incredible places and facilities for your use and enjoyment.
