Maine Summer Sailing: Camden Classics Cup 2025

Every year, beautiful sailboats converge in Camden, Maine to take part in the Camden Classics Cup. It is an event that draws seasoned sailors to compete along with families and friends – all come together to compete for the top honors in their respective yacht class.

Getting out the water on a sunny Saturday in July is a great way to experience the Maine Coast.

Spectators gather along the harbor each year to watch the parade of sail as the boats circle before heading out on Penobscot Bay for a day of racing (above).

The wind filled in on Saturday afternoon, with about 8-10 knots of breeze out of the Southwest.
