Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Ecorse, MI

Ecorse is a southwest suburb of Detroit. The John D. Dingell Park is located in Ecorse along the Detroit River. Known best for its annual Fourth of July fireworks and water festival. The park is a prime spot for fishing and to launch boats. Lake freighters carrying ore and grain are often seen on the river. The Ecorse Rowing Club is adjacent to Dingell Park.
