For classic wooden boat owners, the annual Eggemoggin Reach Regatta is a bit of a pilgrimage, with some of the finest yachts making the trip to the starting line in Center Harbor each August. This year was no exception, with the only late arrival being the breeze itself, which took until early afternoon to appear. Once it did, racers were treated to exceptional sailing. Here are some shots from the starting line.

The cutter TWO DOGS is followed by NY 30 ALERA and NY 50 SPARTAN.
