MARINA HOLDINGS LLC – Marina Holdings LLC, holding company for Yarmouth Boat Yard, Moose Landing Marina, and Freedom Boat Club of Maine, has once again earned premier ranking in Boating Industry’s Top 100 listing of best dealers in North America. This represents the fourth time that Marina Holdings has made the list, and the second year in a row that they have secured the #9 spot.

OREGON FREE FISHING DAYS – Thanksgiving Weekend, Nov. 26 & 27 (Friday & Saturday) are Free Fishing Days! On Free Fishing Weekends, you don’t need a license to fish, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon. That’s no license, no tag, no endorsement needed. Area closures, bag limits and all other regulations still apply. FMI visit MyODFW.com.

PACIFIC MARINE EXPO – The largest commercial marine tradeshow Just Add Water!on the West Coast, serving commercial mariners from Alaska to California kicks off this week. If you make your living on the water, you just can’t afford to miss it!

SOUTH WHARF – Located in one of the “Best Harbors” in the US, South Wharf Provides State-of-the-Art Boat Storage.

South Wharf is excited to welcome boaters into its new state-of-the-art indoor heated storage facility this season! With a boasting 40,000 sq ft of secure and climate-controlled storage, your vessel and its accessories will be comfortable while staying out of the harsh New England winter. Indoor storage eliminates the exposure of extreme cold and temperature fluctuations on the vessel’s fiberglass, canvas, and mechanical systems. Our storage facility includes a 3,000 sq ft dedicated space for cushion cleaning and storage. Indoor storage can extend your boating season with a faster launch when it’s time to get back onto the water.

Updates From Our Coastal Community​

Harbormaster Paul Bryant of Newcastle-Damariscotta, Maine recently retired after only a half-century on the job! The boat designer/builder will continue to operate Riverside Boat Company in Newcastle as the 6th generation of his family to do so. The boatyard also provides winter storage for classic wooden vessels such as Dodge Morgan’s schooner, Eagle and the Friendship sloop, Sazerac.

Harbormaster Bill Stoll of East Tawas, Michigan retired after 40 years serving the local community. Bill began his career on the water at the age of 15 and worked his way up, eventually working for Department of Natural Resources (DNR) at the East Tawas State Harbor.
