* WHERE...Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes National
Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast and Southern Monterey
Bay and Big Sur Coast Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM PST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
High Wind Warning issued December 13 at 9:58PM PST until December 14 at 7:00AM PST by NWS San Francisco CA
* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
* WHERE...The Marin Hills, Western Sonoma County Hills, Northern
Monterey Bay, The Santa Cruz Mountains, San Francisco, Coastal
North Bay Including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco
Peninsula Coast, and East Bay Hills.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could down trees, snap power lines, and
result in property damage. Widespread power outages are possible.
Travel could be extremely difficult and hazardous, especially for
high profile vehicles. The combination of wind and moist soils
will increase the risk for downed trees.
Flood Watch issued December 13 at 4:54PM PST until December 15 at 4:00PM PST by NWS San Francisco CA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...The North Bay.
* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Significant rainfall is expected Friday and Saturday as an
intense low pressure system comes into the state. Expected
rainfall totals are 2-3 inches in the valleys, locally up to
5 inches in the higher elevations. The larger rivers will
crest on Sunday, after the heavy rain.

* Until 600 AM PST.
* At 536 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located 13 nm west of Pillar Point, or 94 nm
southeast of Point Arena, moving northeast at 35 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small
hail.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
