West Pass is located between Vincent Island and Cape St. George Island State Reserve in Apalachicola Bay. Apalachicola is a city located on an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico, Apalachicola Bay, at the mouth of the Apalachicola River in Franklin County, Florida. The city is home to Dixie Theater, a professional liver performance center. The name Apalachicola is said to mean “people on the other side of the river” or “land of the friendly people”.
