longshore current expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Horry and Coastal Georgetown Counties.
* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, from 6 AM Thursday to noon
EDT Friday. For the High Rip Current Risk, from 6 AM EDT
Thursday through Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* WHAT...East to northeast winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45
kt and seas 6 to 10 ft.
* WHERE...Northeast South Carolina coastal waters.
* WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible until early this
afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas will
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
