Marine Weather Statement issued May 23 at 2:23PM AKDT by NWS Juneau AK

Winds will increase in the overnight hours as the gale force
front arrives early Saturday morning. Winds along the southern
gulf coast and inner channels will increase to 30 to 35 kts with
strong breezes moving as far north as Frederick Sound. The
strongest of these winds will be over southern Clarence Strait
into northern Dixon Entrance Saturday morning. Wave heights along
southern waters will build to 10 to 12 ft Saturday before
subsiding again Sunday. Winds will begin to relax after 6 PM
Saturday to around a fresh breeze.
