Welcome to Weymouth – Back River, MA

Small-craft facilities on Weymouth Back River can provide berths with electricity, gasoline, diesel fuel, water, ice, marine supplies, a launching ramp, and lifts to 37 tons; hull, engine, and electronic repairs are avail- able. Sewage pump-out is available on the south side of the river near the end of the channel. A public launching ramp is on the north side of the river about 1.5 miles above the entrance.

In 2008, the controlling depth in the dredged channel to the wharf was 14.5 feet with shoaling to 12.8 feet within 20 feet of the limits; the basin had 15 feet available except for a 150-foot radius of the northwest corner where the controlling depth was 12.5 feet. The channel is buoyed.
