The Kiawah River Bridge crosses the Kiawah River that separates Kiawah Island from Charleston in Charleston County, SC. Kiawah Island is a barrier island mainly made up of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, a private beach and golf resort. Additionally, the island is home to a few county parks, miles of walking and biking trails, 10 miles of beach, and creeks, marshes, and the Kiawah River itself that are great for fishing and boating.
