Welcome to Pigeon Key, south side, Hawk Channel, FL
Pigeon Key is an island in Monroe County, FL that is home to a ghost town of the same name. To the south of the island is Hawk Channel. The island was once home to many workers who helped to build the Seven Mile Bridge, that connects Knight’s Key and Little Duck Key. Before that, it was a work camp during the building of the Florida East Coast Railway.
