Boat for Sale: “Vivace”, an L. Francis Herreshoff Designed Rozinante

NEW: US Harbors is starting to feature special boats for sale! If you are interested in posting your boat please email us.

“Vivace”, a Classic Rozinante

This traditional 28-ft LOA Rozinante masthead ketch was designed by L. Francis Herreshoff. It was built in 1992 by The Apprenticeshop in Rockland, Maine, and is in unadulterated form: it is fully wooden with a painted canvas foredeck, and no inboard power source has been added. For boaters interested in adding a motor, a side bracket with a small electric motor could power this light, and graceful, beauty. (Note: No bracket or motor currently comes with the boat).

The boat sails well, and was raced twice in the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta. The boat has been kept covered during the winter, and was in the water last summer.
