Welcome to Brownsville, WA

Brownsville, located on the west shore of Port Orchard Bay along the north side of Burke Bay and approximately 1.2 miles southwest of Battle Point, is home to a full‑service marina offering 310 permanent berths, 51 transient slips, and 2,000 linear feet of guest moorage. Depths range from about 8 feet alongside A‑Dock near the boat ramp to approximately 25 feet along the breakwater. All of Burke Bay bares at low tide, but it may be entered by small craft at about half tide. The marina provides gasoline, diesel, propane, electricity, fresh water, ice, marine supplies, and a pump‑out station. The Port Office is located on the second floor above The Brownsville Deli.

Port Orchard is an extensive body of water, W of Bainbridge Island, 15 miles long. Its N end connects with Port Madison through Agate Passage. At its S end Port Orchard connects with Puget Sound through Rich Passage. The depths in the main body of Port Orchard range from 36 to 150 feet with few dangers and these, as a rule, are close inshore. Brownsville, on the W shore of Port Orchard, is on the N shore of Burke Bay, about 1.2 miles SW of Battle Point. All of Burke Bay bares, but it may be entered by small craft at about half tide.
