A marina at the entrance to Tanhouse Creek 1 mile south of Public Landing, has gasoline, diesel fuel, and an 8-ton mobile hoist for hauling out boats for minor hull and engine repairs. The entrance to the creek is marked by a light.
Public Landing (38°08’54‚ÄùN., 75°17’12‚ÄùW.), on the mainland side of Chincoteague Bay 15 miles from Ocean City Inlet, has a public wharf, private landings, and fish piers; all have depths of about 4 feet alongside. A highway leads westward from the landing to Snow Hill on Pocomoke River. A small-boat basin with depths of 3 feet and a launching ramp is entered just north of the piers.
