Sams Point is located on the northeastern corner of Lady’s Island in Beaufort County among the Sea Islands. The point is on the Lucy Point Creek that connects to the Coosaw River, Morgan River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The Lucy Point Creek is well known for being featured in the film Forrest Gump as the location of Forrest’s shrimp boat, Jenny. The point is also home to Sams Point Boat Landing.
